The Berkshire Royals are a well‑run, welcoming dodgeball outfit offering everything from casual sessions to competitive league play. They’re active, affordable, and community‑focused—with a junior pathway too. Whether you’re just looking for fun or aiming for nationals, they’ve something for you.

Overview & Origins
Founded in 2019 by Dr Steph White to fill a dodgeball gap in Reading . Currently the go‑to dodgeball club in Berkshire — sporting a catchy logo that’s easy to spot on court .
Training & Locations
Adult sessions: Tuesdays, 7:30–9:30 pm at Blessed Hugh Faringdon School (RG30 3EP) . Junior section: Started recently, Tuesdays 6–7 pm at Meadway Sports Centre, Tilehurst . First full session is always free, so you can test the waters before signing up .

💰 Pricing & Membership
Pay‑as‑you‑play structure: £6 per session for non‑members. £4.02 for members; £3 if you’re a student or junior . £20 annual membership gives you lower session fees, a headband, voting rights, inclusion fund access and more .

They field adult teams in both National and Regional Leagues, including National League 3 South.
Tournament wins and tight games, e.g. Berkshire Royals 3 vs Canterbury Crocodiles 2 Nationals in March . Some players even represent internationally (they mentioned “International Royals” at Worlds 2024) .
👥 Community & Growth
Inclusive to all genders and skill levels—welcomes adults from 16+, plus juniors 11–16 . Active social presence on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube; also organising casual leagues across Reading, Bromley/Bexley, Manchester and Derby . Closed Facebook group for members to organise sessions and socials
