So, what’s the deal

with the NBRH?

  • For over two decades, I've been deeply immersed in the world of recreational and social sports, wearing every hat imaginable—player, coach, manager, referee, and leader across virtually every level.

This journey has been driven by an unwavering passion for the transformative power of sport and fitness in bringing communities together.

However, throughout these twenty years, I've witnessed the same frustrating challenges time and again: those responsible for facilitating activities often lack either the power or genuine desire to elevate the quality of sports and classes.

Whilst some clubs and organisers do exceptional work, the harsh reality is that the majority are held together by nothing more than pure passion and goodwill, leaving participants to sacrifice their precious time, energy, money, and often their sanity, simply to stay active and social.

  • The current landscape of social sports and classes in London is frankly disappointing. Activities are often prohibitively expensive, poorly organised, and frustratingly difficult to discover.

The people charged with facilitating these experiences aren't always delivering their best, largely due to a lack of meaningful competition and accountability in the sector. What's particularly disheartening is the shocking absence of innovation in an industry that should be thriving with fresh ideas and modern solutions.

Beyond the activities themselves, there's a whole ecosystem of needs—equipment hire, qualified officials, consultancy services—that could dramatically improve the quality of experiences, yet finding and comparing these options feels like navigating a maze.

It simply doesn't make sense that millions of people across the UK who want to stay active socially should have to endure such obstacles.

  • Recognising this tremendous opportunity to innovate within an industry worth billions whilst creating lasting, meaningful change, I've channelled my sporting experience, marketing expertise, coding skills, and relentless passion into creating the NBRH.

This isn't just another booking app—it's a comprehensive platform designed specifically for social sports and classes, focused on revolutionising activity discovery for users whilst providing powerful growth tools and services for clubs.

By stepping in where current facilitators have let us down, we're building something that truly serves both sides of the equation.

  • The NBRH boasts over 400 sessions to choose from across 30+ sports and classes, featuring everything from one-off sessions to recurring activities, leagues, and competitions. Our platform is powered by AI-driven session sourcing, meaning new activities can be discovered and uploaded in minutes rather than hours.

We've built dynamic coding infrastructure that allows updates to happen in seconds, not days, ensuring our platform evolves as quickly as our community's needs do. What sets us apart is our commitment to inclusivity—we actively showcase sessions designed for underrepresented groups, including LGBTQ+, POC, women, children, the elderly, and disabled communities.

Beyond booking, we've created a comprehensive knowledge and data hub, a club collaboration store, and various growth tools that integrate seamlessly across the wider platform.

Our modern, clean design reflects our belief that accessing sport shouldn't feel like a chore, and our ecosystem extends beyond mere booking to include networking, content creation, and people-finding services.

  • At the heart of the NBRH is a sophisticated yet user-friendly booking system featuring dynamic filters with over 18 options and an interactive map showing activities near you.

Users can book sessions in under two minutes, with add-ons available to enhance their experience. We provide live data insights and recommendations across London, empowering both participants and organisers to make smarter, more informed decisions.

Our venue finder helps discover sports halls, studios, and outdoor spaces, whilst session playlists offer curated activity collections. For clubs, we've developed a comprehensive suite of organisational and growth tools, including session sorting, league management, live insights, competitive benchmarking, and attendee dashboards, plus various monetisation features to help sustainable growth.

  • Our driving mission is elegantly simple yet profoundly important: making activities more affordable, more accessible, and more organised for everyone. We believe that staying active and social shouldn't be a luxury or a logistical nightmare—it should be an enjoyable, seamless part of daily life.

By treating clubs as genuine partners rather than mere clients, we're invested in their success because their growth directly fuels our own. This partnership approach, combined with purposeful integration into local communities and culture, ensures more authentic, meaningful experiences for everyone involved.

  • In the short term, we're focused on gathering invaluable feedback, partnering with clubs across London, building our user base, and creating compelling case studies and reviews that demonstrate the genuine need for our platform. As we move into the medium term, we're planning to expand and accelerate our monetisation channels whilst exploring investment opportunities to boost growth and expansion.

We'll be signing exclusive contracts with clubs, hosting medium-scale events, building a dedicated team, and beginning to subsidise select activities. Our long-term vision is ambitious: launching a fully functional iOS app, securing exclusive partnerships with venues, brands, leagues, corporate businesses, and university sports clubs, plus developing on-demand workouts created by contracted NBRH content creators.

  • Our endgame is transformational: large-scale events, infrastructure projects, contracts with local government and educational institutions, broadcasting rights, in-house content production teams, and substantial long-term partnerships with major brands.

We envision a future where we can subsidise a significant portion of activities, making sport and fitness truly accessible to all. This isn't just about building a business—it's about fundamentally changing how people access and experience social sport in their communities.

  • We've designed a sustainable, growth-focused business model that evolves with our platform. Initially, we operate on transaction fees for users and a percentage of session earnings for clubs, supplemented by promoting our merchandise, services, and premium passes that offer additional perks whilst reducing transaction fees.

As we mature, we'll expand these secondary monetisation channels, particularly our premium user passes and clubhouse passes for clubs, plus à la carte services. Eventually, we'll attract business sponsors and advertisers, using advertising revenue to fuel further platform growth and member acquisition.

  • We're aware of competitors like Sportas, ClassPass, Meetup, and GameOn Active, but we believe our comprehensive approach, community focus, and genuine partnership model with clubs sets us apart. Rather than simply aggregating existing offerings, we're actively working to improve the entire ecosystem of social sport and fitness.

  • The NBRH isn't just a platform—it's a movement towards better, more accessible social sport for everyone.

There are numerous ways to support us and become part of this exciting journey: join our WhatsApp community, complete our surveys, use the platform and share your feedback, follow us on Instagram, spread the word to friends and clubs, become an NBRH ambassador, consider investing in our vision, or simply donate to support our cause.

Every form of support, no matter how small, helps us move closer to our goal of revolutionising social sport in London and beyond. Together, we can create a future where staying active and social is accessible, affordable, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone. The question isn't whether change is needed—it's whether you'll be part of making it happen.
