Nestled in the heart of Belsize Park, Globe Tennis Club offers a welcoming environment for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. With six floodlit artificial clay courts, members can enjoy year-round play, whether for social matches or competitive league games. The club prides itself on fostering a friendly community where both recreational and serious players can thrive.

The friendliest club in all of Middlesex? We certainly like to think so. Located in a residential area of Belsize Park, right next to Belsize Tube Station with six floodlit artificial clay courts cater for all ages and levels of play. Social tennis is the backbone of the club but we also treat competitive tennis very seriously and often our teams manage to perform above their fighting weight. Our attractive clubhouse offers modern facilities, with a lounge and bar, kitchen and changing rooms, an extraordinary view of all six courts and a superb venue for our members to enjoy.

Courts
Our superb courts are surrounded by wonderful gardens designed and maintained by our long standing member Emilio. The club has six floodlit artificial clay courts. Play is only allowed until 9.30p.m. on weekdays and 7.30p.m. on weekends – without exceptions. Our hitting wall on court 6 is very popular, and a great way to practise your technique.
Club-House & Bar
We have a bar and eating area with table tennis, bridge, chess, other board games and a TV to watch all the big events. The clubhouse has changing rooms with showers and baby-changing facilities. Minimum opening hours are:
Winter (October – March):
– Monday, Tuesday: closed
– Wednesday, Thursday: 4.00pm – 10.00pm
– Friday: 4.00pm – 7.00pm
– Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays: 9.00am – 8.00pm
Summer (April – September):
– Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 4.00pm – 7.00pm
– Wednesday, Thursday: 4.00pm – 10.00pm
– Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays: 9.00am – 8.00pm
– Home match evenings: 5.00pm – 10.00pmCar Parking
The car parking facilities are for members who have purchased an annual car parking pass only. Please observe the ‘keep free’ area and do not leave your vehicle in the car park while not at the club.
